In response to a question from

, we'd like to offer an example for our Whim members on how our shared world will work.
One of the remaining staff members provided us with two examples. We in no way used guilt to encourage her help. She is simply a kind and generous person. If she says we did, however, she's a dirty liar and not to be trusted.
In these examples, the writer carries on two separate stories as she chooses. Part of the way through, we told her it begins to snow. She continues the story using the changing weather.

Whim
Water stretches for miles reflecting the bright and brilliant sunlight broken by towering rocks. Marine life ripples at their bases, making shallower pools flutter with excitement.
In one secluded part of Whim, a forest blossoms with fresh foliage. Each dew studded leaf reflects the forest's grandeur. At the heart, a clear blue lake resonates.
Beneath the forest lies a second world, carved out of Whim's core. At the center; a market bustles, lit with crystals that shine like captured sunlight.
Welcome to RivenDon't forget question one but don't just sit there. WRITE.
1. There is going to be some tragedy that will rock our part of Whim. It may effect your character a lot, a little or it may not effect them at all. But what will it be? An illness, a war, severe weather trouble, maybe even mysterious disappearances (children, plants, animals, talking rocks). What do you envision?
Older News
Wednesday August 27, 2008. Wow! Wednesday is suddenly Friday! No, we haven't become senile just yet dear members. We realized we may have been bogging you down with updates this week so we decided to postpone Wednesday's news until Friday.
We also realized, so many members are beginning school this time of year and might be inactive for a while. Don't worry, we understand. So we decided to offer yet another program! (Wah! So many things to do!) But we figured this could be helpful for anyone writing papers. We know it takes a different knack to produce a good paper than it does a good story.
So, we'll be seeking trusted English Majors/Graduates to help members with papers if they need it. You're welcome to send us notes and volunteer but that's a little further off! We're still working on the system.
